Peppe Iodice inaugurates the 2024/2025 season of the Teatro Cilea in Naples. A season that will be an exciting journey between prose and music, with unmissable shows.

The actor Peppe Iodice, a true star of the Neapolitan comedy scene, will kick off a season that promises to be full of emotions, laughter, reflections and beauty, all contained in the magical setting of the Teatro Cilea, whose artistic director is Lello Arena.
The prestigious Teatro Cilea in Naples – under the artistic direction of Lello Arena – announces the start of the new theatre season which will be inaugurated on 7 – until 10 November 2024 – with the show by Peppe Iodice, “So' Pep! The Last Nights”.
This show represents an unmissable moment for lovers of theater and comedy, promising to give laughter and reflections to the Neapolitan audience.
After ten seasons of highly successful reruns throughout Italy, Peppe Iodice returns to Naples by popular demand with a renewed version of his show, “So' Pep… sempre di più”. Written with Marco Critelli and Francesco Burzo, and directed by Francesco Mastandrea, this show aims to address the challenges and complexities of the contemporary world through the lens of irony and comedy.
“After an extremely complex period, characterized by dramatic events such as wars, pandemics and economic crises, we asked ourselves how we could use the theater as a space of liberation,” says director Francesco Mastandrea. “We decided to share with the audience our reflections and the comical vision of reality that made Peppe a favorite of the public. The updated version of this show is more current, irreverent and sincere than ever, and brings us ever closer to the essence of Peppe Iodice, both as a man and as an artist. Together with the audience, we will create a group therapy, revealing our secrets without filters. After all, in the end, 'it stays between us!'”
