Stopped on Appia with drugs in car: 35-year-old from Capua arrested

He was travelling along the road Appia National with the car loaded with drugs, but was stopped by the police during a road check and arrested.

The woman's nervous attitude aroused the suspicions of the police, who decided to carry out a more thorough inspection of the vehicle, a Fiat Panda registered to a rental agency. The search led to the discovery and seizure of several narcotic substances, including 8,73 grams of crack, 5,02 grams of cobret, 1,92 grams of cocaine, 0,86 grams of marijuana e 1,21 grams of hashish. Also seized 210 euros in cash, considered to be the proceeds of the illegal activity.

The checks were subsequently extended to the woman's home, where the military found further quantities of drugs. In detail, the following were seized: 7,5 grams of cobret, 21,1 grams of cocaine, 10,3 grams of marijuana e 4,6 grams of hashishThe 35-year-old was then declared under arrest on charges of possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances and, by order of the Judicial Authority, transferred to Benevento prison pending further procedural developments.
