Two evenings that promise to go down in history, not only in music but also in the city. On July 6th and 8th, Piazza del Plebiscito becomes the world epicenter of music and memory with “The 4Ever Show – Official July 4th Celebration”, a monumental event that celebrates the deep bond between Italy and United States, with Naples as the absolute protagonist.
It's not just about concerts: it's a real international festival that mixes entertainment, historical memory and universal values in an unprecedented immersive format, inspired by the figure of Filippo Mazzei, an Italian patriot who in the 18th century influenced Thomas Jefferson in drafting the Declaration of Independence. The famous phrase "All men are created equal" becomes the common thread of an experience that unites past and present, music and civil commitment.
On stage, giants of world music. On July 6th it will be the turn of Mary J. Blige and John Legend, for their only Italian date: a concert that will see them accompanied by an exceptional formation, the Independence Orchestra, with over 100 musicians directed by Maestro Paolo Vivaldi. On July 8th it will be 50 Cent's turn, also in a national exclusive, with his band and the full orchestra.
“We are very happy that these giants have chosen Naples for their only Italian dates – comments Ferdinando Tozzi, mayor Manfredi's delegated advisor for the music and audiovisual industry – it is the recognition of a precise work, that of making Naples a true music city, in line with the best international standards".
