An earthquake of magnitude 2.0, located on the external north-east flank of the Solfatara of Pozzuoli, occurred at 13.11 pm at a depth of 2,1 km.
The seismic event was recorded by the Vesuvius Observatory, the Neapolitan section of the INGV, and communicated to the Municipal Administration of Pozzuoli, which announced that “from an initial inspection carried out in the epicentral area by the local police, no significant effects were detected nor were any reports of damage or inconvenience received from the population by the Civil Protection Office”.
