Two Camorra raids in a few hours in San Vitaliano. The Carabinieri are investigating.
Yesterday, the first raid in via Massimo Troisi, again among public housing blocks. Tonight, shortly after midnight, the carabinieri intervened again in San Vitaliano, in the Naples area, but in via Anna Magnani, inside the public housing complex known as '219', for a report of gunshots.
Shortly before, unknown persons allegedly fired several shots in the air. 11 shell casings were found and seized. At the moment, there are no injuries. Investigations are underway. It cannot be ruled out that the two episodes may be connected and attributable to tensions between clans in the area, including the powerful Mazzarella clan, which dominates a large part of Naples and its hinterland.
