Tomorrow morning, in piazza del Plebiscito, on the occasion of the departure of the VIIIth stage of the 105th Giro d'Italia, the “Eroi della Sicurezza” Award will be presented, now in its 11th edition, an initiative of the State Police and Autostrade per l'Italia to valorize the work of the highway patrol officers and workers who every day monitor the traffic on Italian motorways.

Furthermore, some school groups will also be awarded in the “Biciscuola” competition, the project related to the Giro d'Italia which, in collaboration with RCS, aims to introduce elementary school students to the world of cycling and sustainable mobility.
