Naples, tourists leave a bag in the pizzeria: the owner posts the video and finds them.
Two French tourists forget a bag with 750 euros in the pizzeria Laezza in the Spanish Quarters, and the owner does everything he can to find them and return their lost money. A story with a happy ending, since the two tourists get their bag with the money back.
The news was given by advisor rregional of Green Europe Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who also received from the owner of the pizzeria the video from the business's cameras that filmed the two tourists, with the aim of making it circulate online and thus tracking down the foreign couple. Which he succeeded in doing 24 hours later.
“The owner of the Pizzeria Laezza on Via Speranzella – Borrelli tells – contacted me to inform me that tomorrow at 10 am they will be returned to the port police, where the cruise ships dock and where the two people are supposed to leave, the 750 euros lost. The story shows once again how extraordinary the big heart of true Neapolitans is.
I want to publicly thank the owners of the pizzeria because they worked with all their strength to find these two tourists. These Neapolitans honor our city with their honesty, their commitment and make us look good with tourists. They are the examples to follow, not the hooligans, vandals, delinquents, robbers, scammers and swindlers who every day infest the streets of Naples, damaging our territory, the image and the economy of the city”.
