Tax credits for a total amount of over 5,6 million euros were seized by the Guardia di Finanza of Salerno in execution of a decree issued by the investigating judge at the request of the Salerno Prosecutor's Office.
The measure was notified to 22 people investigated in various capacities for the crimes of undue receipt of public funds and issuing invoices for non-existent transactions.
The investigations conducted by the financial police of the economic-financial police unit of Salerno, on behalf of the Public Prosecutor's Office led by the prosecutor Giuseppe Borrelli, have allowed us to hypothesize numerous conducts of undue perception of public funds related to the use of tax breaks provided for by the so-called Facade Bonuses, restructuring and recovery of the building heritage and ecobonus Ordinary.

According to the reconstruction made by the investigators, the suspects would have used invoices for non-existent operations issued by shell companies and certifying renovation and energy efficiency works that were never actually carried out, obtaining from the Revenue Agency the recognition of tax credits for the value of 5.616.379 euros.
