The play area reopened today Mascagni Park in Vomero. While waiting for the redevelopment of the Park, the basketball court has been made safe and new games for children have been installed, including a swing for the disabled.
“It is a day that I welcome with pleasure – observed the councilor for Green of the municipality of Naples Vincenzo Santagada – the result of a strong synergy between the municipality and the municipalities.
Added to this is the resolution that I have just signed, and which will be approved by the Council next week, regarding the redevelopment of the Mascagni Park, and I hope that we will begin the work as soon as possible".
“Thanks to an important intervention carried out by two private entrepreneurs, we have inserted new games in place of the damaged ones in the Park and finally today we are returning them to the children of the area – added the president of Municipality 5 Clementina Cozzolino – This is an experiment in private-public collaboration and it is the beginning of a path that will lead in a short time to the overall redevelopment of the entire area”.
The generosity of two entrepreneurs, from the Bruognolo company and Siip srl, was fundamental, and with their contribution they made the reopening possible.
