The Municipal Police identified a factory in Vico IX Duchesca that produced clothing with counterfeit brands. It was a real laboratory, set up in an apartment on the 4th floor, equipped with sewing machines and a professional punching machine, as well as large quantities of cotton reels, fabric and metal labels, buttons and studs reproducing very well-known high fashion brands.
Given the absence of people inside the laboratory, the agents placed the apartment under criminal seizure, along with 1500 items of counterfeit clothing and 200.000 labels, brands and logos.
In the historic center, in addition, local police officers, as part of their efforts to combat illegal street vendors, identified in Piazzetta Nilo a large quantity of bags and purses that were clearly counterfeit and abandoned by some street vendors who were fleeing. The material was seized.
