This morning the State Police and the Guardia di Finanza executed an order for the application of the precautionary measure in prison issued by the GIP of the Court of Napoli, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples - District Anti-Mafia Directorate, against seven people.
All were considered seriously suspected, to varying degrees, of the crimes of association aimed at the illicit trafficking of narcotic substances (particularly hashish) as well as possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
Furthermore, a precautionary seizure order was simultaneously executed on movable and immovable assets for a total value of over 700.000 euros, corresponding to the volume of business that would have been handled by the drug sales organization.
In particular, the organization would have been operational in Marano of Naples, in other neighboring municipalities and with ramifications also in the territories of lower Lazio and would have moved the drugs through the use of vehicles specially modified with the provision of compartments for concealing the narcotic.
