IIn view of the upcoming football season, the Italian Association arbitrators (Aia) has announced a qualification course for assistant referees (scheduled in Coverciano on 15 and 16 July) and another for Video match officials (in Lissone, on 23 and 24 July. The VMO staff available to the National Arbitration Commission also includes referees who have resigned.
So Massimiliano Irrati, Lorenzo Maggioni, Daniele Paterna, Marco Serra and Paolo Valeri, who will make their experience available in the VAR room. Meanwhile, the National Committee, on the proposal of the president Aia, Carlo Pacifici, has approved the new technical and associative appointments.
Among other things, a Commission for the study, development and monitoring of association projects and for the fight against violence has been established, which will be headed by the former president of the association, Alfredo Trentalange, and a Study Commission for arbitration Erasmus and international relations. Furthermore, a Study Commission has been appointed for relations with the Serie A and B (referent Riccardo Pinzani) and Series C (referent the former Aia vice-president Duccio Baglioni).
