The director of the Elsa Morante Award Tiuna Notarbartolo and the director of the Rai Production Centre of Napoli Antonio Parlati interview Cristina Fogazzi as part of the Campania Libri Festival.
The visionary entrepreneur and contemporary art enthusiast Cristina Fogazzi will be the guest on Saturday 7 October at 16,30 pm at the Teatrino di Corte del Royal Palace of Naples. Fogazzi, as part of the Campania Libri Festival, will be interviewed by the director of the Elsa Morante Prize Tiuna Notarbartolo and by the director of the Rai Production Center of Naples Antonio Parlati for her book “Il mio Grand Tour”, recently published by Mondadori. Cristina Fogazzi has been passionate about art, especially contemporary art, since her university days when she studied it with Professor Luciano Caramel.
Only in recent years, especially since 2020, has he decided to share this great passion, until then kept private, with his audience, becoming an ambassador for a cultural operation of great value: that of making known, in times of pandemic, the extraordinary beauties of our country.
With her pink truck in the past summers she has traveled the length and breadth of the peninsula, discovering the lesser-known museums of the Italian province, proving to be a refined and very competent communicator. In this book she has collected about forty places of the heart chosen among those most intimately linked to her autobiography as an “anxious traveler” and among the most difficult to instagram. The message is clear: they must be visited in person “because everything is always better in person”, Cristina concludes.
A sincere and passionate story, at times moving, of how beauty can truly save us or at least make us better human beings. The organization of Morante, led by Tiuna Notarbartolo, avails itself of the coordination of Iki Notarbartolo, the beautiful graphic images of Umberto Amicucci and the Pem press office, with Lisa Terranova and Gilda Notarbartolo, Raimondo Miele at Institutional Relations.
Partners of these days, in which the synergy between the Elsa Morante Award, the Campania dei Festival Foundation and the Campania Region is a winning one, are the Rai of Naples, in the year of its sixtieth anniversary, the Grand Hotel Oriente, a true refuge for stars, the Al 53 restaurant, which tells the story of Naples through culinary art, and Giannini Editore.
All events are free to attend.
