Yesterday evening, the Hawks of the Flying Squad, within the scope of the services arranged for this purpose, noticed in Chapel Alley in Pontenuovo, a coming and going of people entering and exiting a house.
Having taken note of what they had observed, the officers set up a surveillance service and, after following a suspicious individual, they noticed that the same individual had gone to the apartment where a man was waiting for him and gave him something in exchange for money.
The officers promptly intervened to interrupt the criminal process by blocking both the suspect and the buyer; the latter was found in possession of a package containing 0,16 grams of cocaine just purchased, while the defendant was found in possession of a package with 0,2 grams of the same substance and 60 euros.
Therefore, a 43-year-old of Romanian origin with a police record, including specific ones, was arrested for illegal possession of narcotic substances; the buyer, a 33-year-old Moroccan illegally residing in the country, was instead reported for illegal entry and residence in the country and administratively sanctioned for possession of narcotic substances for personal use.
