"I am here to hear the citizens of Caivano speak, to understand what they think of this great commitment of the State, what they want to do. In the next elections you must make a choice of sides, ask yourselves whether it is better to be on the side of the State or the Camorra".
Invited by Don Maurizio Patriciello, the public prosecutor of Naples, Nicola Gratteri he arrived at the church of St. Paul the Apostle at Green Park of Caivano to listen, rather than to have his say.
The church is packed. “Where were you when they dissolved the municipality twice in a row or when they opened the swimming pool and then abandoned it to decay?”, asks Gratteri, who invites people “not to be afraid, to participate in public life, especially in this period in which there is so much attention, both from politics and the media, on Caivano”.
“In the next election, don't vote for someone who assures you that he will give your son a job,” adds Gratteri.
Caivano: State Police checks
Meanwhile, yesterday, the agents of the Police Station of Afragola, with the collaboration of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in the municipality of Caivano and in particular in the “Parco Verde”.
During the service, the operators identified 150 people, checked 76 vehicles, of which two were subjected to administrative seizure and one to administrative detention and contested 4 violations of the Highway Code.
