Christmas time, time for scams in all fields. But especially in those of an economic nature.The Carabinieri of the mobile radio unit have in fact arrested for possession and production of false documents Giulio Zoccola, a 47-year-old from the province of Caserta already known to the police.
The military – alerted by 112 – intervened in the post office in Piazza Matteotti in NapoliThe 47-year-old was trying to sign a contract to get a Postepay card but the postal employee did not fall for the trick.
The director of the office contacted 112 and the carabinieri stopped the man still inside the institute. The 47-year-old was in possession of a false identity card valid for travel abroad and registered to another man but with his own photo on it.

The arrested man is awaiting trial. Investigations are now continuing to track down the supplier of the false document and establish whether the man had already committed similar scams at other post offices or banks.
