The search for Antonella Di Massa, a 51-year-old woman, continues in Ischia Casamicciola Terme disappeared last Saturday, February 17. This afternoon, convened by the prefect of Naples Michele di Bari, a meeting was held to take stock of the searches.
The Provincial Plan for the search for missing persons has been activated and search activities continue, under the technical coordination of the Carabinieri Company of Ischia.
“Noteworthy – underlines a note released at the end of the meeting – is the commitment shown by all the components of the civil protection system which still sees the synergic participation of the Police Forces, the Provincial Command of the Fire Brigade, the Port Authority of Ischia, 118, the local and regional Civil Protection, as well as the personnel of the Italian Red Cross, the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps and numerous other volunteer associations”.
The search operations are constantly monitored by the Permanent Monitoring Table at the Prefecture of Naples and drones, helicopters, some equipped with thermoscanners, molecular dog units and a patrol boat from the Port Authority of Ischia are used to patrol the coastal area.
