Today marks the 126th anniversary of the birth of Antonio De Curtis.
This morning, the multimedia project “Totò fa… centro” was presented in the presence of his granddaughter Elena DeCurtis.
The Kaos 48 Cultural Association wanted to pay homage to one of the city's iconic artists, with a virtual walk that connects the actor's hometown, Sanità, with the more modern Centro Direzionale.
Totò is not only an icon for Napoli but also a tourist attraction for many visitors. The exhibition, open until Saturday 17 February at the Area35lab spaces in via Porzio, includes a photographic story from Sergio Siano's archive, books, films and objects, all curated by Kaos 48.
The event was attended by the municipal councilor for Tourism and Productive Activities Teresa Armato, the regional councilor for Schools Lucia Fortini, the journalist of the Mattino Federico Vacalebre, Fabrizio Scomparin, creator of Kaos 48 with Stefano Nasti, the president of the third Municipality Fabio Greco and his deputy Ciro Guida, the president of the Commission for Tourism and Productive Activities Luigi Carbone, the municipal councilor Gennaro Acampora and the member of the Scientific Committee Giuliana De Lorenzo.
