During the football match between Napoli and Frosinone that took place yesterday at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium, the Naples Local Police carried out an extraordinary control operation in the external perimeter of the stadium. The objective was to prevent and repress illicit acts and crimes that frequently emerge during football matches.
During the operation, the Municipal Police officers issued 78 reports for violations of the Highway Code, with the seizure of 44 vehicles, including 7 motorcycles parked in a no-parking zone. Of these, 2 were seized due to lack of insurance coverage.
Another important aspect of the intervention was the fight against the phenomenon of illegal parking attendants, who are very active in the stadium area especially during sporting events. Five parking attendants were identified, fined and removed, with four of them reported for repeat offenders.
In addition, the officers contested six violations of the mayoral ordinance that prohibits the sale of beverages in glass containers in the immediate vicinity of the stadium during sporting events. This measure is intended to ensure greater safety and public order, limiting the risks associated with the use of containers that can become dangerous objects in the event of gatherings.
