Naples. The shooting of illegal parking attendant Enrico Parisi the other evening on Viale Giochi del Mediterraneo in Fuorigrotta raises disturbing investigative questions.
The 45-year-old, who has a criminal record but only acquaintances and no ties with the D'Ausilio clan of Bagnoli which among other things controls the extortion of parking fees throughout the Phlegraean area, could be yet another target of a new clash between clans for control of the parking business.
The ambush in which he was a victim occurred around midnight. According to initial reconstructions, Parisi was on the street near the Space Cinema when he was approached by two men riding a scooter.
The criminals, both with their faces covered by a hood, fired two shots at the 45-year-old before fleeing in the direction of Agnano and Pozzuoli.
Hooded killers on motorbikes fired two gunshots at him
Parisi was transported to the nearby San Paolo hospital with two gunshot wounds to his right foot.

The officers of the Bagnoli police station and the Flying Squad intervened on the spot and started the investigation. The area was patrolled and the images from the surveillance cameras in the area were acquired.
The reasons for the ambush are still unclear. Investigators are pursuing several leads, including that of a settling of scores in the context of the activities of illegal parking, which in Bagnoli, as in other areas of Naples, are often under the influence of the Camorra.
However, at the moment there are no elements that connect Parisi to Camorra contexts.
The investigation continues to identify the perpetrators of the ambush and to reconstruct the dynamics of the facts. The police are analyzing the images from the cameras in the area to verify if there are frames useful for the investigation.
