THEsurvey, conducted by the accounting magistrates and delegated to the military of the Arma, focuses on an amount of approximately 9 thousand euros, collected during the screening of the match at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium. The match, crucial for the conquest of the title by the Azzurri, attracted thousands of fans, generating a significant flow of money that is now under examination.
City councilor Catello Maresca started the investigation by filing a complaint regarding alleged financial damage. According to Maresca, there were irregularities in the management of the funds collected and in their destination, which could have caused damage to the public coffers.
Today's inspections aim to clarify the transparency of the sports club's financial operations and to verify whether part of the proceeds were actually donated to charity as expected. The Prosecutor's Office wants to ascertain whether there were errors or omissions in the management of the funds, to ensure that all operations were conducted in compliance with current regulations.
