Since late last February, a sinkhole has opened up on the exit ramp of Monterusciello north, along the highway that connects the Naples ring road to the Campi Flegrei.

Since then, the junction has remained closed, as a motorist reported to the Green-Sinister Alliance MP, Francesco Emilio Borrelli.

"A lot of time has passed and the inconvenience for motorists is numerous. We sent a note to Anas and the Municipality of Pozzuoli also intervened to request an acceleration of the work. We have been assured that the road section will be restored quickly. We will monitor daily," Borrelli declared.
