Camorra, 9 years in prison requested for Tony Colombo and his wife Tina Rispoli

Naples. Request for a nine-year prison sentence for Tony Colombo and his wife, Tina Rispoli, 20 years instead for the latter's brother Raffaele Rispoli and above all for the boss Enzo Di Lauro (F2) and another 66 years of prison for the other 7 defendants of the Di Lauro and Vanella Grassi clans who have chosen the abbreviated trial.

These are the requests for conviction that the prosecutor Lucio Giuliano of the Naples DDA formulated yesterday morning in the trial against the criminal alliance of the Di Lauros and the Vanilla Grasswhich had led to the raid of October 13th with 27 people ending up in prison.

The requests for overall sentences therefore for this first strand of the trial and which concerns the defendants who have chosen the abbreviated procedure amount to 124 years of prison and is the compendium of the investigation which has brought to light the new life of the Secondigliano Camorra with the entrepreneurial alliance between the clans. the investigation revealed that the Di Lauro clan also invested in clothing companies and created brands, together with the neomelodic singer from Palermo Tony Colombo and his wife Tina Rispoli, like the one called “Corleone”.

Even the energy drink “9 mm” (whose name recalls the caliber of the pistols), like the clothing brand that alludes to the world of organized crime, could be traced back to the clan founded by Paolo Di Lauro, known as “ciruzzo o' milionario”.

In essence, according to investigators, a sort of "Di Lauro spa" was set up, which produced investments in activities considered less risky through companies registered under front men, now the subject of seizure, with which the clan managed, for example, a well-known gym, a betting shop and some supermarkets.

In the raid, assets worth 8 million euros were also seized. The crimes contested also included external competition in mafia association, bid-rigging, and the aggravating circumstance of transnationality linked to cigarette smuggling.

The investigation, conducted by the Naples District Anti-Mafia Directorate, has revealed alleged links between the singer and the criminal organization. According to the investigators' reconstructions, Columbo and his wife allegedly favored and supported the clan, laundering money from illicit activities and investing in businesses linked to the criminal organization.

Environmental and telephone interceptions would have collected incriminating conversations, in which the two spouses would openly discuss business with prominent members of the Di Lauro clan. Disturbing details would emerge about their relationships and the ways in which they would have tried to hide the illicit proceeds.
