The check and subsequent arrest was brought to term by the Carabinieri of the Grumo Nevano station who carried out a targeted search in the home of Giuseppe Paciolla.
The man appeared nervous during the check and during the search the soldiers found hidden in a closet a sawn-off 12-gauge shotgun with a scratched serial number. 2 gas pistols without red caps and 9 shotgun cartridges. his home and found the weapons in the closet.
Paciolla, who did not provide explanations on the possession of those weapons, was arrested and placed under house arrest by order of the magistrate of the Naples North Prosecutor's Office on charges of possession of clandestine weapons.
