The incident occurred on the night between February 15 and 16, when the little girl was attacked by the family pitbull. The area affected by the attack was the subject of intense surveys for eight and a half hours, necessary to collect every possible clue useful for the investigation.
According to the girl's father's story, Vincenzo Loffredo, who is currently under investigation for manslaughter, some relatives cleaned the blood from the apartment before it was sealed.
