The MousikArte exhibition stops in Somma Vesuviana, chosen as one of the destinations of the initiative. The traveling event is dedicated to illustrious figures such as Giacomo Puccini and Enrico Caruso and is organized by the association Centro Studi Mousiké Ets. The project is supported by the Campania Region through the Campania Tourism Agency and enjoys the support of the Municipality of Ottaviano and the Vesuvius Park Authority. It also has the moral patronage of the municipalities of Somma Vesuviana and Boscoreale and the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.
Cultural Events
An important cultural day is scheduled for March 2 in Somma Vesuviana. Activities begin at 16:30 pm with a guided tour of the Villa Augustea and the convent of Santa Maria del Pozzo, proposed by the local Pro Loco. Later, at 18:00 pm, at the Castello d'Alagno, an exhibition of paintings and sculptures, curated by the Artè association, will be inaugurated.
Homage to Puccini
The day will end at 19:30 pm with a concert dedicated to the opera Tosca by Giacomo Puccini, which will be held in the suggestive Castello d'Alagno. The president of Mousikè, Giuseppe D'Antuono, emphasizes how this meeting represents a precious opportunity to bring out the excellence of the Vesuvian territory. This event invites all culture and music enthusiasts to immerse themselves in a historical context of great importance.
