On Sunday, March 16, Salerno will host a new event in the #Fuorifestival series of Salerno Letteratura. At 6:00 PM, at the Spazio Matteotti, Emanuele Trevi will present his work "The Magician's House," published by Ponte alle Grazie. The event will be hosted by Corrado De Rosa.
The book
“La casa del Mago” tells the story of Mario Trevi, a renowned Italian psychoanalyst, through the memory of his son, Emanuele Trevi. Described as a place of healing and confrontation with Evil, the house becomes the starting point for a narrative that intertwines past and present, bringing together illustrious figures such as Carl Gustav Jung, Natalia Ginzburg, and others. This novel closes a circle that began seven years ago with “Invasioni Controllati”, and stands out for its personal character and irony.
The author
Emanuele Trevi is an established writer, translator and literary critic, winner of the Strega Prize in 2021 with “Due vite”. Among his works: “Instructions for the use of the wolf”, “Distant music”, “Controlled invasions”, “Figures”, “The wooden people”, “Dreams and fables”, “Initiatory journeys” and “The house of the magician”.

The Salerno event seems interesting, but I don't know if I'll go. I've read about Emanuele Trevi and his works, but I've never read 'La casa del Mago'. I hope it's a good book.
