The operation took place in the heart of the city, near via Cesare Rosaroll, thanks to the intervention of the Falcons of the Flying Squad, engaged in a targeted service of territorial control.
According to the reconstruction, the officers, during the patrol, noticed a man on a scooter with suspicious behavior. At the sight of the police, the 30-year-old attempted to get rid of some packages, throwing them on the ground, and then accelerated in an attempt to escape control. The escape, however, was short-lived: the Hawks promptly caught up with him and stopped him.
The search revealed that the man had with him a package containing cocaine and 220 euros in cash, divided into banknotes of various denominations, probable proceeds of the illicit activity. The officers also recovered the packages abandoned shortly before, which contained approximately 3,5 grams of cocaine.

But that's not all: the 30-year-old was also charged with a violation of the Highway Code, as he was found not to have a driving license. The scooter, however, was subjected to administrative detention. The arrest is part of the operations to combat drug dealing conducted by the State Police in the Neapolitan territory.
