MILAN – It opened today, in thebunker classroom in front of San Vittore prison, the abbreviated process against 16 defendants, including former heads of the curves of Milan and Inter, arrested last September 30th.
The Rossoneri and Nerazzurri clubs, together with the Serie A League, intend to join the proceedings as a civil party, requesting compensation for damages related to safety in stadiums and the violation of sporting values. The hearing, presided over by the judge Rossana Mongiardo, focused on preliminary technical issues, such as the acquisition of documents and interceptions, and on the possibility of admitting an abbreviated trial conditional on the hearing of some witnesses.
Among the defendants, the names of stand out: Marco Ferdico e Andrea Beretta (the latter is a collaborator of justice) for the Inter curve, while for the Milan South curve he is involved Luca Lucci. The ultra leaders and other representatives of the organised fan groups must answer for criminal association aimed at crimes such as assaults and extortions, with the further aggravating circumstance mobster for some members of the Inter fans.
At the same time, another process linked to the Milanese curves is also continuing: the Milan and the League Serie A have already asked to join the civil action in the immediate process against three AC Milan ultras, started last 20 FebruaryThe decision will be made at the next hearing.

It's a strange idea that these heads of the curves are arrested and now there is a trial, but I don't know if it really leads to anything good. The damage in the stadiums is a serious problem, but I don't know if this trial can solve it.
In this process there are many complicated aspects to take into consideration, such as witnesses and documents that should be presented. It is important that justice takes its course impartially.
