Chaos in the morning on the Asse Mediano, where an accident brought traffic to a standstill on the stretch towards Acerra. The collision, which occurred at kilometer 22, near Cardito, involved five vehicles and injured one person.
The dynamics of the accident are still unclear, and the investigations by the Police are ongoing. Anas emergency vehicles and police patrols intervened promptly on site, engaged in traffic management and securing the roadway.
The impact caused long queues and heavy slowdowns, with significant inconvenience for motorists heading towards Acerra and surrounding areas. The area remained patrolled for hours to allow for surveys and removal of the damaged vehicles. At the moment, no further critical issues have been reported, but traffic remains congested while waiting for the road system to be completely restored.
