Terrazza Leuciana – Tramonti, the musical festival that combines art, culture and landscape in the magnificent setting of the Belvedere Monumental Complex of San Leucio, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, returns for the third consecutive year.

Every Sunday in June, starting from the 8th, the splendid Terrazza dell'Atrio Superiore will be transformed into an exceptional stage, hosting artists of national and international fame in a perfect combination of music and architectural beauty.

A festival between tradition and innovation

Organized by Gianni Genovese's Genovesemanagement, sponsored by the Municipality of Caserta and the Real Sito Belvedere di San Leucio and the support of the Teatro Pubblico Campano, the festival is inspired by the famous Terrazza di Ravello, but stands out for its uniqueness: the breathtaking location, which offers a panoramic view of the valley, and a program that ranges from classical to jazz, passing through cinema and animation.

A perfect combination of engaging melodies and enchanting landscape, which transforms every evening into a unique experience, capable of exciting and leaving its mark. An event that, year after year, conquers more and more audiences, confirming itself among the most anticipated of the Caserta cultural season.

The program: four events not to be missed

  • June 8 | 21:00 PM
ClassArt 5et – Naples in the cinema

The Concert includes the performance of a “Quintet” composed of Tenor Vincenzo Casertano (aka Enzo Peroni), flanked by Soprano Marilena D'Alessio, accompanied on the Piano by Francesco Gravina, on the Violin by Cristina Carrillo and on the Cello by Vincenzo Santangelo (all fellow countrymen) who work in the most prestigious national theaters and foundations and who boast collaborations with great national and international artists and national television networks (Rai and Mediaset). The Concert lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes, divided into two parts.

In the First Part, the most beautiful melodies by composers Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone, Luis Bacalov and Joseph Maria Lecalle, who set to music the greatest masterpieces of Italian and international cinematography, will be performed.

In the Second Part, pieces by E. Di Capua, M. Costa, E. De Curtis, L. Bovio, G. Gambardella will be performed, authors who with their music have exported the classical Neapolitan song all over the world.

Once Upon a Time… 100 Years of Magic
    Homage to Walt Disney

“Once Upon a Time…100 Years of Magic” is a musical show aimed at audiences of all ages and genders and is intended as a tribute to the greatest filmmaker, producer, designer, voice actor and entrepreneur of the XNUMXth century, Walt Elias Disney, founder of the Disney empire.

The show features live performances of the greatest musical hits from many Disney animated films, all rearranged by Maestro Alessandro Crescenzo, starting from classics such as Pinocchio and Cinderella up to the hits of recent years, obviously passing through the numerous Oscar-winning songs and alternating medleys of the most famous songs.

Alessandro Crescenzo: arranger, musician, Rai orchestras.
Roberta Andreozzi: female voice of several Italian musicals.
Francesco Boccia: male voice in “Masaniello” by Tato Russo and composer of “Grande Amore” by Il Volo.

  • June 22 | 21:00 PM
    Gigi Cifarelli – Just Friends

Gigi Cifarelli is one of the most talented musicians on the Italian jazz scene and beyond, since he is one of the very few Italians to perform at international festivals alongside the most famous American jazz and blues guitarists such as Mike Stern, Robben Ford and many others.

A career that has led him to work alongside names in jazz and pop such as Tina Turner, Carl Anderson, Chick Corea, George Benson, Bireli Legrene, Mina, Loredana Bertè, Mia Martini, Matia Bazar and Renato Zero to name a few.

Considered one of the most eclectic and virtuoso guitarists, Gigi knows how to involve the audience thanks to his long experience at the BlueNote in Milan, through a journey made of different sounds, a varied repertoire that has as its matrix the blues in its many forms.

  • June 29 | 6:00 PM
    Dawn Concert with Antonio Onorato
    Mediterranean Blue

Antonio Onorato boasts an artistic career spanning over thirty years. An eclectic musician, he ranges from jazz-rock to world music to orchestral composition. He is considered an ambassador of Italian culture abroad, because he has brought his “Italian” music all over the world, playing in Chile, Brazil, the United States, Mexico, Angola, Uganda, Morocco, Tunisia, Iraq, Turkey, England, Denmark, Switzerland, Albania, Slovenia, and more recently in Turkmenistan.

He is one of the few Italians to have held his own concert at the Blue Note in New York, a historic temple of international jazz, as well as having collaborated with numerous artists: from 2012 to 2014 he was a special guest in several concerts by Pino Daniele, and played alongside artists such as Franco Cerri, Toninho Horta, Joe Amoruso, Gerald Cannon, and many others.

An opportunity to enhance the territory

“Terrazza Leuciana is not just music, but an opportunity to promote our cultural heritage”, the organizers underline. An invitation to discover (or rediscover) the beauty of San Leucio, between history, art and melodies that resonate

  1. The event looks interesting but I don't know if I'll be able to attend, the dates are always booked. I wonder if there are discounts for students or families. The location is nice, but traffic could be a problem.
