An Hymn to Courage Against Toxic Relationships
The single “Keep Walking” is an adrenaline rush that incites you to let go of manipulative and ferocious ties without looking back, with raw and passionate sounds that could get on the nerves of those who prefer feel-good music. Irene Loche’s intense voice leads a direct invitation to shake off those who hurt, mixing raw emotions with melodies that recall dirty blues and folk that is not afraid to scratch. “This is a song that I care deeply about – says Irene Loche – I wrote it in a moment of great rupture, when saying enough was the only possible choice. In the lyrics, keep walking is addressed to those who had to leave, but over time it has taken on a broader meaning for me: that of continuing to move forward with awareness. I chose to release it now because I feel that it contains an important part of my journey. You can collapse, but you can also get up and move forward.”
Star musicians for an epic sound
There are no half measures behind this song: heavyweights such as Leland Sklar on bass, Steve Ferrone on drums, Fabrizio Foggia on Fender Rhodes and Hammond contributed, with Irene herself on vocals and guitars, creating a sound that doesn't skimp on power and authenticity, as if they had extracted the raw soul of rock and slapped it straight into your ears.
The career of a Sardinian singer-songwriter without frills
Irene Loche, Sardinian guitarist, singer and composer, forges her music from the crossroads of blues, soul, rock and American sounds, reflecting a raw and unfiltered passion that has seen her perform at European festivals with a magnetic and personal style. The only Italian endorser for Magnatone amplifiers since 2015, she is about to launch her new EP in 2025, produced by Steve Postell and Massimo Satta, recorded between Los Angeles and Sardinia, with influences that echo artists such as Anders Osborne and Gary Clark Jr., and contributions from international musicians for a record that is not content to be just music.

I read about the release of Keep Walking and I think it's an important theme, that of toxic relationships. However, I feel that music today is too commercial and not very original. I hope that Irene can bring something new to the music scene.
