Sant'Anastasia – The nightmare of State Road 268, now nicknamed the "Stone-Throwing State Road," continues. The latest victim is a 15-year-old girl driving her minivan, miraculously unharmed after a huge rock hurled through her windshield while she was driving along Via Pomigliano, a road that leads directly to State Road 268.
The girl, still in shock, told the incident to the Green-Side Alliance MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli:
"I heard a bang, and the glass shattered before my eyes. If I had lost control, it would have ended badly."
Borrelli's warning: "Potential massacre"
The MP denounced a dangerous escalation: "Dozens of cars damaged, a woman seriously injured, a minor traumatized. So far, things have gone well, but we're one step away from tragedy."
Borrelli points the finger at those responsible, be they robbers, vandals, or social media challenge participants: "Anyone who throws stones from an overpass is a potential murderer.
