Naples – The chaos that has long afflicted the taxi category at Naples airport has returned forcefully to the fore after yet another “indecent” episode that occurred yesterday, as reported by the Association Taxi drivers basic.
While urban mobility seems to be in disarray, the Association highlights how there are organizations that are trying to collaborate with GESAC (the airport management company) to ensure an efficient and user-friendly service.
“Our association does not give anyone any discounts and feels it is our duty to apologize to users for what happened yesterday at the airport, where we witnessed yet another shameful episode,” reads a note signed by the President of the Associazione Tassisti di Base, Ettore Pascarella.
The Association launches an appeal for concrete intervention by municipal institutions. Repression against taxi drivers is not enough, but real prevention, planning and coordination of the service is necessary. The current situation penalizes both workers in the sector and citizens, who find themselves facing inconveniences and inefficiencies.
(h3)Availability to discuss concrete solutions
The Associazione Tassisti di Base declares itself completely available for a constructive discussion with all interested parties. The objective is to address and resolve a critical issue that, according to the Association, is becoming increasingly unsustainable and that damages the image and functionality of one of the most important airports in Southern Italy.
