A tribute in music and images to celebrate one of the greatest tenors of all time: Enrico Caruso. Sunday 15 June at 19 pm, the church of San Potito, in via Salvatore Tommasi in Naples, will host the multimedia concert “Enrico Caruso – Analisi di una Leggenda”. The event, promoted by the association Centro Studi Mousikè, is organized in collaboration with the Campania Region and the associations Med, Nea Connect and Ad Alta Voce.
A journey through the arias loved by Caruso
The concert will feature a repertoire that includes some of Caruso's favorite arias, along with other significant pieces from his career. The goal is to offer the audience an exciting journey through the music that made the voice of the famous Neapolitan tenor immortal.
The protagonists are the tenors of the Teatro San Carlo
The concert will be performed by three tenors from the Teatro San Carlo choir – Ivan Lualdi, Michele Maddaloni and Mario Todisco – accompanied by pianist Antonino Armagno. The artistic direction is entrusted to tenor and reciting voice Gaetano De Rosa. An evening that combines live performance and multimedia narration, to rediscover the legendary figure of Caruso more than a century after his death on August 2, 1921.
Tickets and information
Admission to the event costs 10 euros (reduced to 5 euros for under 18s and over 65s). Admission is free for people with disabilities. Tickets can be purchased online through the Eventbrite portal or directly on site, starting two hours before the start of the show.
