A 29-year-old man, illegally residing in Italy and with a criminal record, was stopped by State Police in Vasto during a routine check. He was charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and resisting arrest.

During a routine check in the Vasto-Arenaccia neighborhood, the State Police arrested a 29-year-old man with an illegal immigration status and a criminal record.
The man was observed selling a substance to another person in exchange for money on Via Sapri, at the intersection with Via Casanova. Upon seeing the officers, both individuals attempted to flee in opposite directions.
After a chase, officers managed to apprehend the 29-year-old, finding him in possession of five packages containing hashish weighing approximately 15 grams in total, as well as €250 in cash of various denominations. The man was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and resisting arrest.
