Great success for the Company “Passioni teatrali” that performed yesterday evening at the Acacia theater, in front of an audience of attentive and enthusiastic spectators who greeted with repeated applause, even during the open scene, the premiere of the new work of the historic company that, on the occasion, celebrated its first 40 years of life: the musical in two acts “Cinderella Law” written by Silvana Buttafarri who also directed it. The success already obtained in past years, always at the Acacia, was thus repeated, first with the musical “Accadde negli anni '60” and then with another musical entitled: “Le fantasie in casa Esposito” both also written by Silvana Buttafarri. Among continuous applause that accompanied them, numerous artists and dancers performed in splendid choreographies, with sparkling costumes, made especially for the evening. Highly professional sets, sound and lighting made the event even more extraordinary. Spectators satisfied and still applauding after almost two hours of show, always lively and varied, which saw alternating spoken and danced parts.
In his presentation speech, the artistic director, Gennaro Capodanno, among other things launched the new project of the cultural association SACS, entertainment, art, culture, sport, organizer of the evening. Starting in October, a real acting laboratory will be created for theater, television and cinema, with the possibility of establishing, also with the contribution of local institutions, scholarships for the most deserving students. At the same time, he reiterated the need to allocate, in Naples, a theater for the performances of amateur dramatic companies, with a real program that sees the many companies of this type existing in Naples and the province engaged throughout the year.
"The show that we will perform over the next year - Capodanno announced - will feature the participation of protagonists who will come from the theatre workshop that will start in the fall. We will therefore continue with one of the main objectives that, since the artistic partnership saw the light, way back in 1978, at the TTC Club, has constituted the historical and cultural heritage of the Company. That is, to launch new talents into the firmament of entertainment who, making themselves known to the general public and the mass media, through our shows, can then become part of touring companies, achieving deserved success."

I'm talking about Flavia Borghese, the formidable interpreter of Cinderella, at her first experience, as an actress, on the stage but who was also the source of inspiration for the author and director Silvana Buttafarri for this new work.
