Failure to pay the tourist tax, 200 thousand euros seized in Ischia.
The Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples, as part of an investigation coordinated by the Second Section of the Neapolitan Public Prosecutor's Office, has executed, by order of the Court of Naples, a decree of preventive seizure of assets worth almost 200 thousand euros. The precautionary patrimonial measure concerns two companies that manage a hotel in Lacco Ameno.
In particular, the financial police of the Ischia Tenenza found alleged irregularities committed by the accommodation facility, namely the failure to pay the tourist tax, for the years 2018 and 2019, which instead collected from customers and the consequent failure to submit the declaration of the "tourist tax". The investigative activity and the analysis of the accounting documentation acquired allowed the Fiamme Gialle to quantify the exact amount due to the municipal coffers in the two years of reference at 187112 euros.
