Starting from Friday 8th January, “RIVOLUZIONE” (Noize Hills Records / Artist First), the new single by TAVO, will be on radio rotation and on all digital platforms.
We usually associate this word with change. With great historical ideals. TAVO in the new single attributes to “Revolution” the meaning of imperturbability of regeneration after defeat, after pain. The ability to resist. To return to the exact starting point as immutable beings. Stainless.
The artist explains about his new unreleased song: «I saw someone very dear to me fight one of the greatest battles. I expected to see her fragile, to have to stay by her side to pick up the pieces she would lose along the way, to support her. Instead I realized that she herself “was in front of everyone”. I felt small. In this song, I just observed, in the hope of one day having part of that courage. I was the spectator of the greatest documentary and reader of the greatest book on humanity and courage».
The official video of the song, directed by Lorenzo Chiesa, strongly inspired by the universe of theater, features Tavo who invites the listener not to be afraid and to throw themselves into making those uncomfortable decisions, which often seem like an insurmountable obstacle. During the video clip, the theater location alternates with a natural paradise symbolizing maximum interior and exterior freedom. Only by facing what transmits fear and makes us insecure can we say that we feel truly free and masters of ourselves. In those few moments the Revolution of each of us is taking place.

Francesco Taverna, in art TAVO, is a singer-songwriter from Alessandria born in 1993 who is among the emerging artists of the Italian indie pop scene. After his first concert, at the Circolo Ohibò in Milan, TAVO soon found space on stages such as Rocket club (Linoleum), Spaghetti Unplugged, Le Mura, Tendenze Festival, Radical Sheep Festival, Arezzo Wave and many others, obtaining awards such as "Best live performance".
He presents the new 2020 tour in a concert with Sick Tamburo at the Lab Alessandria.
He is defined in magazines and industry pages (rockit.it, Rumore, Le Rane…) as “One of the most interesting profiles of the Italian indie scene” with his debut album “Funambolo” (Noize Hills Records, 2018), a collection of light melodies and falsely ironic lyrics that depict life situations with an unstable balance.
The new EP of TAVO titled “Theia” (Noize Hills Records) is available from May 5, 2020, obtaining radio programming (Radio Rai 1, 2, isoradio, etc.) and relevant placements in TIM Music.
The video clip of “Gange” is published as an exclusive preview for Billboard Italia. Since April he has been collaborating with Levi's Italia (“Live 501”) and Borsalino.
