Over three centuries in prison. This is the sentence pronounced by the preliminary investigations judge of Naples Marcello De Chiara for the members of the Camorra of the northern Naples neighborhood of Miano.
In particular, it concerns the offshoot born from the split of the Lo Russos, the so-called 'abbasc Miano' group, all composed of young recruits of the 'capitoni', as the Lo Russos were known. The heaviest sentences were handed down to the leaders of the group, all young: 24-year-old Matteo Balzano (20 years of imprisonment), 30-year-old Gianluca D'Errico (19 years and 4 months) and 26-year-old Salvatore Scarpellini (19 years and 4 months). Also sentenced for Vincenzo Gangiano (13 years), Angelo Contiello (11 years). Patrizio D'Aria (12 years), Giuseppe Falcone (12 years). Among the crimes contested by the deputy prosecutor of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Naples Enrica Parascandolo, are mafia-style criminal association and criminal association aimed at trafficking and dealing in narcotics.

Fines for 52 thousand euros and compensation recognized against the Municipality of Naples that had constituted itself as a civil party.
