This morning, in fact, following investigations coordinated by the District Attorney's Office of the Republic of Naples, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples have executed an order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples applying the precautionary custody in prison against 8 individuals, 5 of whom are already detained in a penal institution, seriously suspected, to varying degrees, of aggravated robbery with the use of weapons and various extortions, with the aggravating circumstance of having committed the crimes to facilitate the Camorra group Lo Russo clan, and in particular to achieve criminal control of the territories of Miano and neighboring territories, Chiaiano, Piscinola, Marianella, Colli Aminei.

The investigations of the Carabinieri of the Naples Vomero Company, conducted through telephone and environmental interceptions and thanks to the statements of the injured parties, have allowed the identification of those responsible for a violent robbery and two extortions committed in the territory of Miano to the detriment of the owners of commercial activities.
The identified subjects all belong to the “Ngopp Miano group”, a faction of the Lo Russo clan.
Among the recipients of the provision are also Cifrone Luigi, Cifrone Gaetano, already detained in execution of a precautionary order executed in October, with which both were recognized, among other hypotheses of crime, the role of managers and organizers of the criminal organization "Ngopp Miano" to have the management and control of the drug dealing areas of the territory and in particular the hashish and heroin areas.
Among the recipients of the order are also Gennaro Caldore, known as Genny Cioccolato, Stefano Di Fraia, Pasquale Pandolfo, already under precautionary custody for kidnapping for extortion committed on the same day as the robbery referred to in the order executed today.
