In Castellammare di Stabia, the Digital Education project was a great success
Castellammare di Stabia – In the wonderful setting of Palazzo Farnese, the project concluded yesterday with enormous success and maximum appreciation Digital Education.
The winning project of the Campania Region tender saw the municipality of Castellammare and the Mai più violenza infinita Onlus Association as partners in the Stabia area.
3 schools were chosen for the pilot project: Panzini, Vitruvio and Di Capua. From February 2021 to May, 300 students, 150 parents and 50 teachers followed an online course on bullying and cyberbullying. The team of 8 experts led by Dr. Virginia Ciaravolo introduced all participants to the intricacies of the dangers of the Internet. The team also used a digital forensic that accompanied all parents in learning about the dangers.

The entire course took advantage of the collaboration and synergy of the Police Forces, Inspector Rita Villani of the State Police gained the attention of the students by educating them on risks and dangers.
At the end of the 20-hour course, through a computer system, the kids filled out a questionnaire to verify the skills acquired and received from the hands of the mayor Eng. Gaetano Cimmino and the councilor Sabrina di Gennaro the License for the conscious use of smartphones and derivatives. The course also received a letter of appreciation for the quality of the project from the Minister of Education Prof. Patrizio Bianchi. In June, the work will be completed with the drafting of a manual of the lessons held and with the delivery of certificates to parents and teachers.
