Two soldiers capture a bank robber who had just left a Caserta bank.
Late yesterday morning two soldiers from theItalian army employees of the Operation “Safe Roads”, belonging to the “Campania” Group based on the 7th Bersaglieri Regiment, intervened to stop a robber who had just committed a robbery inside a bank office located in the city centre of Caserta.
The attention of the two off-duty riflemen was drawn by calls for help from the staff of a credit institution indicating an individual on the run who was promptly reached and stopped by the military.
The alleged robber was subsequently handed over to the police to undergo the usual procedures.
