“Fit-Food”, the app by the students of Don Gnocchi of Maddaloni selected by Confindustria
Maddaloni. A prestigious award was given by Confindustria Giovani to the Don Gnocchi High School in Maddaloni: a start-up conceived by students of the Don Gnocchi economic-social department was selected from hundreds of projects.
“Fit-food…click” is the proposal "baked" by the guys at Don Gnocchi, that is, an app dedicated to healthy food according to a logic that favors "fit" over "fast": good taste combined with nutritional well-being as an alternative to "hurried" food. The target to which the project is addressed is that of people who need to support a diet, cope with food allergies or more simply aspire to protect that good health that begins with eating well at the table. The App imagined by the guys connects users to places where you can eat healthily and tastefully based on specific needs.
The context in which the commitment of the students of Don Gnocchi developed is that of school-work alternation. "The development of this project - explains the school principal Annamaria Lettieri - matures in the context of a training course that took place in synergy with the Giustino Fortunato University. A positive experience that demonstrates the profitability of networking and encouraging educational connections between secondary schools, academic training institutes and the business world".
The Director continues: “The fact that such a brilliant project was carried out in the afternoon and in DAD is also proof that in a valid educational context the difficulties of the school - which are then the reflection of the difficulties of the entire society in the months of COVID - can be overcome, indeed they can trigger a dynamic of challenge/response”
“I-Factor” (business factor) sponsored by Confindustria is a project that involves high schools and universities and that ends with the development of an entrepreneurial initiative by the students. The students were encouraged to develop a “business plan” or to give organic form to a proposal that can translate into a new possibility of business and employment in step with technological innovation and the social needs of our time.
“The business plan developed by the students of the Liceo Don Gnocchi and in particular by the students of the IVB of the economic and social address was classified among the six most brilliant proposals among the hundreds examined. Now the students of Don Gnocchi will be supported by a tutor from Confindustria Giovani for a practical articulation of their vision”, explains Prof. Maria Antonietta Zambella.
