Gragnano, abuse and extortion of 90-year-old grandmother and aunts: arrested
His main victim was the nonna ninety years old. But threats were also directed at two aunts. A story of ordinary domestic violence that the Carabinieri put an end to, thanks also to the women's complaint. And so the military of the Arma di Gragnano, have executed a custodial order issued by the investigating judge of the Torre Annunziata court at the request of the Oplontona prosecutor's office against a 33-year-old boy, accused of mistreatment in the family and aggravated extortion against his grandmother, who lives with him, as well as aggravated threats against his aunts.
The investigation began precisely from the complaints filed by some relatives of the suspect. The testimonies, but also the acquisition of medical reports and what was documented by the Carabinieri during the numerous interventions, allowed to ascertain the daily physical aggressions to which the elderly woman was subjected, often hit with slaps and punches or with objects thrown by her grandson.
The military also documented two episodes, in May and December 2020 respectively, during which the thirty-three-year-old had closed the victim's hands in the door causing her to fall to the ground and had punched her in the temple following her refusal to give him money, in addition to having reconstructed an extortion continued over time by the man who, with violence and threats, forced the grandmother to pay him sums of money, part of the attendance allowance, in addition to the entire survivor's pension.
Finally, the continuous death threats against the aunts, daughters of the victim, who had tried to separate the suspect from their mother, were confirmed. After the ritual formalities, the boy was taken to the Poggioreale prison.
