“Over 22 million euros allocated to the Campania region for the extraordinary maintenance of the roads of the Internal Areas. This is what was established by the State-Regions Conference, in defining the distribution of the 300 million assigned by decree by the Government and allocated within the funds of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Of the total funding provided, 50% will be allocated to the Southern regions. For Campania, they have been distributed as follows: 6,335 million for Alta Irpinia, 5,223 million for the Cilento interior, 6,199 million for the Tammaro-Titerno area and 5,059 million for the Vallo di Diano". This was announced by the president of the Special Regional Commission for Internal Areas Michele Cammarano.
"An important signal - Cammarano emphasizes - that highlights the attention towards internal areas to improve their accessibility and cohesion with the rest of the country. Thanks to the incoming resources and to a planning that we must optimize by involving all the interested categories, we can give life to a great season of investments to reverse a trend of reducing territorial distances and inequalities in terms of opportunities and services.
An opportunity to relaunch, once and for all, territories that for years have passively witnessed a phenomenon of depopulation that we can finally put a stop to”.
