The Carabinieri of Qualiano together with the staff of the veterinary service of the ASL NA2 Nord have reported two local agricultural entrepreneurs for animal abuse and illegal waste disposal.
During an inspection carried out at a farm in the Qualiano area, the operators found that 60 pigs were being raised in very poor health and hygiene conditions.
The animals were crammed into very narrow boxes where they had no freedom of movement, among their excrement and various waste.
