Juventus: the Turin Public Prosecutor's Office investigates the buying and selling of footballers and the formation of balance sheets.
Yesterday evening, with the stock exchange closed, the military of the economic-financial police unit searched the offices of the black and white club in the Piedmontese capital and in Milan to recover documents relating to management between the years 2019 and 2021. There are six people under investigation: the president Andrea Agnelli, the vice president Pavel nedved, the former head of the sports area Fabio Paratici, now at Tottenham, the current Chief Corporate & Financial Officer Stefano Cerrator, the former Chief Corporate & Financial Officer, Stefano Bertola, and the former financial manager Mark King.
The investigation is also underway Juventus, in the guise of legal person. The hypotheses of the crime are false corporate communications and issuing invoices for non-existent operations. The investigators are examining the case, in what has been code-named “Operation Prism”, there are the transfers of some footballerie the performances rendered by the intermediaries during the transactions.
The initiative of the Fiamme Gialle, which was launched at the end of the weekly trading on the Stock Exchange - Juventus is a company listed on the Euronext Milan market, the former Telematic Stock Market - was communicated to Consob and the federal prosecutor of the FIGC.
The case has been open in the prosecutor's office since May of this year. It is being handled by a pool of magistrates composed of the prosecutors Ciro Santoriello, Marco Gianoglio and Mario Bendoni, also making use of technical activities of interception of communications.
