The investigators used wiretaps and environmental interceptions to frame the main members of the D'Alessandro family in particular. Everything revolves mainly around 'Enzuccio' son of the clan leader Michele D'Alessandro who managed the criminal organization for years. An unscrupulous boss who imposed very high extortion rates and who hit several entrepreneurs at the same time. Scanzano's percentage on contracts was 5%, both on public and private works.
