Naples: Borrelli, shops flop and management of the Plebiscito colonnades. The Councilor's statement
"The failure to assign and open the premises under the colonnades of San Francesco di Paola in Piazza del Plebiscito are attributable to the absolutely unsuitable management of the Prefecture, which I have also examined with numerous notes (over 20), requests for meetings, requests for clarifications to which almost never received answers. The various subjects delegated by the Prefects who have succeeded one another to resolve this matter over the years have worked little and badly, using all possible bureaucratic tools to do nothing. All the unfulfilled announcements are very serious and have only resulted in a constant abandonment of the colonnades, which have once again been transformed into a place of degradation and dirt. On this side, unfortunately, we must note a total failure of the administrative action to relaunch and control the area”.
This was stated by regional councilor Francesco Emilio Borrelli who, over the last 6 years, has made dozens of requests to the Prefecture to obtain an interest in the colonnades, but has not managed to obtain the attention and commitment required.
